There’s a reason why “location, location, location” is such a widely known real estate saying. 

It’s the one thing you can’t change about your house.

When you find a home you love, make sure you do your research on the neighborhood before putting an offer in. Make sure to check on 

– crime rates

– school ratings

– planned construction

If you’re seriously considering a home, you can also talk to the neighbors–most people are more than happy to offer some information about the neighborhood.
